Our Cuisine is unpretentious but refined: since 1919 we have been specializing in fresh fish, caught daily, and home made pasta. Our cellar is filled with over 150 different Italian wines.
The landscape is breathtaking here: from “SILVIO’s” porch, you’ll feel like you are in the middle of a romantic painting, gazing at Lake Como with its beautiful ancient Villas; “Villa Carlotta”, on the other side of the Lake; “Villa Melzi” and its famous azalea garden right below; “Villa Gerli”, on the left side with the beautiful Romanesque church of “Santa Maria di Loppia” which dates of the XI century.

At “SILVIO’s” Lake fish is king: Silvio and Cristian Ponzini, professional fishermen on Lake Como, guarantee a daily selection of the freshest fish. Also pasta is home made: among others, our Chef Davide prepares wonderful big, square ravioli filling of lake fish, served in a butter and sage sauce and covered with parmesan cheese and a few leaves of fresh sage; Fettuccine and Pappardelle with a delicate fish ragout; Rice and fillet of perch, a traditional Lake dish; all wheat Gnocchi with a sauce of pike and lake trout… and a wonderful Tiramisù.
